Nicht erst die Ergebnisse der Landtagswahlen in Sachsen und Brandenburg zeigen: Rassistisches und nationalistisches Denken und Handeln sind längst in der Mitte der Gesellschaft verankert. Der staatliche Rassismus, Abschiebungen, Behördenwillkür, Diskriminierung, Hetze auf der Straße und in den Parlamenten, die staatlich geförderte NSU-Mordserie, Angriffe auf Geflüchtete und Geflüchtetenunterkünfte, Tote auf dem Mittelmeer, Kriminalisierung derer, die sich solidarisieren*. Dieser tödlichen Realität treten wir gemeinsam, entschlossen und solidarisch entgegen! *Deshalb wird es auf der Demo »Alles muss man selber machen« am 12. Oktober, wie auch schon am 1. Mai, einen antirassistischen Solidarity Block geben.
Unsere Solidarität wollen wir mit Schildern, Bannern, aber auch farblich zeigen: *Die Block-Farbe ist Orange. *Im Zuge der SEEBRÜCKE-Bewegung wurde Orange zur Farbe der Solidarität mit Menschen auf der Flucht. Orange ist Symbol für das, was wir wollen: Sichere und legale Fluchtwege nach Europa, das Ende des Sterbens an allen Mauern und in allen Meeren, Bewegungsfreiheit für alle! In Orange protestieren wir am 12. Oktober gegen rassistische und nationalistische Hetze in der Politik, auf der Straße und im Alltag.
Wir laufen in Orange, wir laufen gemeinsam und in grenzenloser Solidarität! Kramt also gerne eure orangenen Klamotten, Mützen etc. heraus und werdet kreativ. Kommt in den antirassistischen Solidarity Block. Denn Solidarität ist eine Waffe – und die schönste Beziehung der Welt.
WICHTIG: Wir wünschen uns einen Solidarity Block, der seinem Namen gerecht wird: Einen Block, in dem Menschen aufeinander Acht geben und sich möglichst sicher und geschützt fühlen können. Falls ihr oder andere dennoch von diskriminierendem oder übergriffigem Verhalten betroffen sein solltet, wendet euch bitte an unsere Ordner*innen. Wir werden euch nach besten Möglichkeiten unterstützen.
Der Wandel hin zu einer besseren Gesellschaft kommt nicht von allein, es liegt an uns, ihn zu erkämpfen! Denn wie wir wissen: Alles muss man selber machen! Kommt deshalb am 12. Oktober nach Erfurt auf unsere Demo! Um 13 Uhr am Bahnhofsvorplatz geht es los.

Anti-racist Solidarity Block at “Do it yourself” (“Alles muss man selber machen”) demonstration in Erfurt on 12 October 2019: Fight Racism, Defend Solidarity!
Not only since the election results in Saxony and Brandenburg we see: Racist and nationalist thinking an action are already deeply grounded in the middle of society. The racism of the state, deportations, abitrary actions of authorities, discrimination, hateful agitation on the streets and in the parliaments, the state supported National Socialist Underground (NSU) murders, attacks on refugees and on shelters for refugees, deads on the Mediterranean Sea, criminalization of those who show solidarity. *We stand up against that deadly reality – united, resolutely and in solidarity! *We therefore will form an anti-racist Solidarity Block at the “Do it yourself” demonstration in Erfurt on 12 October 2019.
We want to show our solidarity with signs, banners, but also in colour: *The colour of the block is orange. *In terms of the SEEBRÜCKE-Movement orange became the colour of solidarity with all people who have or had to flee. Orange became a symbol for what we want: Safe and legal passage to Europe, the end of the dying at all borders and in all seas, freedom of movement for everybody! In orange we protest on 12 October against against racist and nationalist agitation in politics, on the streets and everyday life.
*We walk in orange, we walk united and in borderless solidarity! *Bring your orange clothes, caps etc. and be creative. Join the anti-racist Solidarity Block. Solidarity is a weapon – and the most beautiful relationship in the world.
IMPORTANT: We want a Solidarity Block that is true to its name: A Block, where people take care of each other an can feel as safe and protected as possible. If you or other persons still experience discriminating or offensive behaviours please contact our organisation team (German: “Ordner*innen”). We will support you at our best.
The change towards a better society comes not by itself, it’s up to all of us to fight for it! Because we know: We have to do everything ourselves! Therefore come and join our demonstration on 12 October in Erfurt! Beginning: 1 p.m. at the square in front of Erfurt main station (Willy-Brandt-Platz).
